Ahla wa sahla (welcome!) to Tabbouleh Language School (TLS). We’re Ahmed & Bianca, an intercultural couple living in the beautiful, mountainous city of Nablus, Palestine, and founders of TLS. Our shared passion for teaching and exploring different languages and cultures is what brought us together–and we’re so excited to share what our school has to offer!

Our center is named after tabbouleh, a refreshing salad served across the Middle East. The essence of tabbouleh–its flavor, brightness, and versatility–is exactly what we want to embody. Maybe you’ve been interested in learning Arabic for a while, but haven’t found the right teacher yet.Or perhaps you’re curious about Palestinian cuisine, but the recipes are a bit overwhelming. Never fear! Here at TLS, we want to “serve up” a fun, fresh, and colorful way to study Arabic & Palestinian culture.

True to our motto, we strive to create a space that is truly fun, fresh, and colorful. Whether it be our personalized Arabic classes, virtual cooking classes, language cafes, or translation services, we want you to be immersed in what Palestine has to offer.

Whether you’re learning one-on-one or with a group of friends, we make language learning warm, personal, and delicious (And yes, we also teach you how to cook tabbouleh!).

What We Offer

Arabic Language Classes

Our language classes are at the center of what we do. The chopped parsley in our tabbouleh, so to speak.

Virtual Cooking Classes

We bring the culture to life through food! Join our fun, no-stress cooking classes from our blue kitchen in Nablus.

Translation Services

In addition to Arabic and virtual cooking classes, TLS also offers high-quality Arabic to English translation services.

Arabic Language Cafés

Practice new vocabulary in a relaxed environment. TLS’ monthly Language Cafés are fun and friendly — bring your coffee!
