What's a TLS Language Café?

It’s a casual meetup for Arabic learners of all levels to practice speaking, learn new phrases, and connect with native speakers. While our facilitators are not Arabic teachers by training, they are passionate about Arabic, sharing Palestinian culture, and meeting new people.

I’m Tasbeeh, a 28 year-old Palestinian, Master’s student, and a trainee lawyer.I’m passionate about languages and connecting with people.I love helping learners to speak Palestinian Arabic more naturally and feel connected to Arab culture. I’m so excited to be part of your Arabic learning journey!

I am Suna. I’m 32 years old, a mom to 2 beautiful girls, and I was born and raised in Nablus, Palestine.I love connecting with people from different cultures, and I believe that every language carries a story, a people, and a history behind it..I also enjoy cooking Palestinian food. It is truly a part of our rich identity and culture, and I love sharing it as a way to express love and community.
